The Fairies

Faeries are one of the supernatural kinds the series adds alongside shapeshifters, werewolves, werepanthers, witches and a maenad. Sookie Stackhouse herself turns out to be a human-faerie hybrid. Her faerie relatives include her grandfather Niall, who comes to Bon Temps in season six, and Claudine, who takes Sookie away to the land of Faerie at the end of season three. Warlow, the vampire who killed Sookie's parents, has a fae and vampire blood mix that lets vampires walk in daylight.
