Plot
Ren and Stimpy host a dinner party in a mansion they have taken without permission, having obtained it offscreen. Ren, who calls himself a master of etiquette, provides narration in the style of a documentary. Stimpy delivers invitations to Mr. Horse, who is alone and desolate; Muddy Mudskipper, who is in prison doing manual labor after being arrested; and a baboon that hides in a dark alley. Ren prepares the meals, including a soup that he drinks and then spits back up.
To maintain his formal appearance, Ren pops a bloody cyst on his face. Stimpy greets the guests and parks their vehicles, but crashes Haggis MacHaggis’ helicopter in the process. He also welcomes Sammy Mantis and hangs up the skin Sammy has shed. Stimpy announces the arrival of a fly and his rancid meat “wife,” Kowalski (who served in the army and was promoted to general), the Announcer Salesman, a beheaded chicken, Muddy Mudskipper with his gorilla wife, and others.
Ren explains that a sweaty handshake is necessary for formality, so he achieves this by groping the armpits of a Turkish strongman; Haggis is impressed by the resulting handshake. The party begins when Stimpy sprays soup onto the guests and Ren says prayers. The guests eat the food greedily, ignoring the party’s formal tone. Ren calms an aggressive baboon by insulting its buttocks, which the baboon takes as a compliment.
The main course is honey glazed sheep liver with dusty wig stuffings. The guests enjoy the liver, and Haggis adds chutney for extra flavor. They eat noisily and burp afterward, showing no regard for manners; Ren approves of this behavior, except for Powdered Toast Man, who maintains his dignity. He refuses to burp, causing his head to fall into the baboon’s plate, where it is eaten, killing him.
Stimpy rinses the dishes with a hose, washing the guests away. After dinner, the men play parlor games and smoke cigars while Stimpy polishes the ladies’ feet. The guests are forced to leave when the mansion’s actual owners, Mr. and Mrs. Pipe, return from vacation; Ren and Stimpy had stolen the house. The duo avoid punishment by paying Mr. Pipe and sharing a laugh with him, while Mrs. Pipe drives them away, ending the episode.
Production
The episode was storyboarded by Rob Koo and Armen Melkonian, whose only work at Games Animation was this episode; they later became known at DreamWorks Animation. No director is credited; the episode was sent to Rough Draft Korea for animation after initial storyboarding. It marks the final appearance of several characters, including Haggis MacHaggis (voiced by Alan Young in his last role before his death) and Powdered Toast Man (voiced by Billy West because Gary Owens was unavailable).
