Leonard Proposes to Penny

Leonard's attempts to propose are at first rejected by Penny, who does not feel ready for the commitment. In "The Launch Acceleration" he accidentally proposes during sex, and after talking it over Penny declines while affirming she wants to stay with him; in "The Tangible Affection Proof" she stops a second proposal on Valentine's Day. In the penultimate episode of season seven, "The Gorilla Dissolution", Penny admits they should marry, and when Leonard realises she is serious he proposes with a ring he has carried for years.
