Reception
The series faced legal action when aircraft equipment used during filming of an episode was returned to its owners severely damaged. The damage, claimed to exceed £48,000, resulted from fires lit around fuselage and landing gear by Thames Television, causing burning and corrosion. Further damage occurred when producers attempted to extinguish the fires. The case was brought to court on 10 January 1996, two days after the first episode aired.
