Characters
Mopatop, performed by Mak Wilson in Seasons 1 and 2 and by William Todd-Jones in Seasons 3 and 4, is the main character. He is a large, fuzzy green dragon-like creature of indeterminate species who runs Mopatop's Shop as its shopkeeper. His assistant is Puppyduck, performed by Victoria Willing, a cross between a duck and a dog who has a fondness for strawberry jam. The Mouse Family lives in the attic of the shop, including Moosey Mouse (performed by Nigel Plaskitt), who goes unnoticed by Mopatop and Puppyduck and does as he pleases; Moosey Mouse is a recycled version of a mouse puppet from The Muppet Christmas Carol later used for Stanley the Mouse in Jim Henson's Animal Show. Other family members are Mother Mouse (Victoria Willing), Father Mouse (Brian Herring), and Great Uncle Mousiemillian. Claudia Bird (Susan Beattie) is a friendly neighbor, recycled from Winny of The Muppet Show. Lamont (Nigel Plaskitt) is a sloth deliveryman recycled from Jim Henson's Animal Show. Odd-Job Gerald (Brian Herring) is a rabbit who does odd jobs. Grace The Delphinium (Alison McGowan) is a cheerful flower recycled from The Muppet Show. Professor Fingle Fangle Fargle (Nigel Plaskitt) is an inventor who contributes inventions to the shop.
