Synopsis
Edward Brooks, a doctoral student at the University of Cambridge, researches patterns in prime numbers for his dissertation. His supervisor Robert Mallinder, monitored by NSA agents including Taylah Sanders, warns Brooks off the project and destroys his work, then appears to kill himself. Brooks is detained by the NSA and develops a prime finder for codebreaking. He realizes Professor James Alderman has been ordering killings to obtain the prime finder, kills him, and goes on the run while Sanders is apprehended.
