Background

Each episode began with pairs of contestants chosen at random from the studio audience. They started with one minute on the clock and were asked questions about television commercials and supermarket merchandise. Every correct answer increased their allocated time for the shopping spree. Once time was earned, contestants ran through the mock supermarket, filling their trolleys with as much merchandise as they could grab. The team whose trolley held the highest total value of merchandise was declared the winning team. That team then played a treasure hunt-style bonus game: clues suggested which four specific products had to be found within 60 seconds. Each marked product found won a prize, and if the fourth product was located before the 60 seconds expired, the team won a major prize. The show's set design mirrored the American version, especially after the switch from Coles branding to a generic supermarket look.
