Unforgiven is a three-part British television drama series that aired on ITV in January 2009. Written by Sally Wainwright and directed by David Evans, it follows Ruth Slater, a woman released from prison after being convicted of murdering two police officers as a teenager, as she searches for her adopted sister. The series won Best Drama Series or Serial at the 2009 Royal Television Society Awards.
