Megamind Rules! is an American animated superhero comedy series from DreamWorks Animation Television, set after the streaming film Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate. It follows Megamind balancing heroism in Metro City with his online influencer career. The show debuted on Peacock on March 1, 2024, and earned mixed reviews from critics.

Production

Peacock ordered a CG-animated follow-up to the 2010 film from DreamWorks Animation Television in February 2022, initially called Megamind's Guide to Defending Your City. The series follows the reformed villain as he tries to become a social media influencer and a proper superhero. Film writers Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons were executive producers and showrunners, joined by Eric Fogel. JD Ryznar was co-executive producer and story editor. Writing finished by August 2022, and the show, retitled Megamind Rules!, premiered on March 1, 2024. New episodes arrived on June 20, 2024.
