Yellow Diamond

Lore & Background

Yellow Diamond's history with Earth is defined by her role in the Gem Empire. She first appears physically in "That Will Be All", where she and Blue Diamond visit the Human Zoo. In "Reunited", she confronts Steven and the Crystal Gems on Earth, leading to a battle. In "Change Your Mind", she actively fights Steven and the Crystal Gems, attacking with her ship and engaging in combat, before later being convinced to stand up to White Diamond.

Steven helps her understand that deferring to White Diamond's perfectionism has made her miserable. After a brief battle, Yellow and Blue finally tell White about how they feel, but White responds by turning them into colorless drones. Later, the Diamonds travel to Earth, where Yellow helps Steven heal the corrupted Gems, though Jasper is healed by Steven's tears, not Yellow Diamond's power. The episode ends with Steven spending a peaceful evening with his friends and family.
