Xindi Incident
Enterprise's mission to stop the Xindi from destroying Earth.
The Xindi incident, also known as the Xindi crisis or Xindi wars, was an interstellar conflict in Star Trek between United Earth and the Xindi Council, fought mainly in the Delphic Expanse from March 2153 to February 2154. Acting on false intelligence from the Sphere-Builders, who told them humanity would destroy their new homeworld in the 26th century, the Xindi launched a surprise attack on Earth in March 2153: a prototype weapon carved a swath of destruction from Florida to Venezuela, killing seven million people. Enterprise NX-01 was sent to save Earth, and the conflict ended in a decisive United Earth victory with the Xindi weapon destroyed; it was a major turning point in the Temporal Cold War and helped pave the way for the Coalition of Planets.
