Lore & Background
The game is a band-specific spin-off, similar to The Beatles: Rock Band and Green Day: Rock Band. It was released during a period of market saturation for rhythm games, following the decline in sales of both Guitar Hero and Rock Band by 2009. Harmonix had been sold by Viacom to an investment firm in 2010, becoming an independent company.
Reader's Guide
Players use instrument controllers and microphones to perform songs by AC/DC, matching scrolling musical notes. The game supports local and online multiplayer for up to four players. It does not support the 'Pro' instrument features introduced in later main series games.
