Umbrella's failed quest for the perfect obedient super-soldier through viral mutation.
The Tyrant Program represents one of Umbrella Corporation's most ambitious bio-weapon initiatives. In the film series, a Tyrant is a towering creature with regenerative and psionic powers that appears in Resident Evil: Extinction (2007). Dr. Alexander Isaacs transforms into a Tyrant after being bitten by a super zombie and injecting himself with large doses of the anti-virus as a cure. The creature possesses regenerative and psionic abilities, and is ultimately defeated by Alice.
