Helena Harper is a United States Secret Service agent who partners with Leon S. Kennedy during the 2013 bio-terrorist attack in Tall Oaks. She is forced to kill the infected President Adam Benford alongside Leon, and later helps him pursue National Security Advisor Derek Simmons to Lanshiang, China. Helena is a playable character in the Leon scenario of Resident Evil 6, where she can be controlled by the player or by AI in single-player mode.

Helena Harper is a United States Secret Service agent assigned to protect President Adam Benford. On 29 June 2013, she and Leon S. Kennedy are the only survivors of a bio-terrorist attack in Tall Oaks that infects the President. They are forced to kill him. Helena later encounters the real Ada Wong, and learns that National Security Advisor Derek Simmons orchestrated the attack. She and Leon fake their deaths and pursue Simmons to Lanshiang, China. There, they confront Simmons, who admits to assassinating the President to maintain national security. With Ada's assistance, they defeat a mutated Simmons for good. After the crisis, Helena is cleared for duty.

Helena Harper is a playable character in the Leon scenario of Resident Evil 6. She is Leon's partner, and the player can choose to control either Leon or Helena. If the player does not select Helena, she is controlled by artificial intelligence or another player via local or online multiplayer.
