The Copa del Rey, known as the Copa del Presidente de la República from 1932 to 1936, is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Real Madrid has won the competition 20 times, placing third behind Barcelona (32 titles) and Athletic Bilbao (24 or 25 titles, depending on the source).
