Rangers won their seventh domestic treble in 2002-03, Alex McLeish's first full season in charge after taking over from Dick Advocaat. The league championship was decided on goal difference on the final day: a 6-1 win over Dunfermline Athletic left Rangers on plus 73, one better than Celtic. The League Cup was won 2-1 against Celtic and the Scottish Cup 1-0 against Dundee.
