Unlike Gym challenges that often limit team sizes, or the subsequent Elite Four challenge which demands full squad deployment, the Conference itself strictly limits trainers to three Pokémon per match, turning every battle into a high-stakes test of precision rather than endurance. Though few achieve the title within main narrative timelines, winning this event grants qualification to challenge the Elite Four; only after defeating them and the reigning Champion is the official 'Champion' title truly awarded.
