Lore & Background
The Dustmen are one of the original fifteen factions introduced in the 1994 Planescape Campaign Setting. They are among the factions that perform narrative and gameplay functions in the 1999 video game Planescape: Torment, controlling important locations in Sigil and providing quests and dialogue. In the 2023 boxed set Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse, the Dustmen returned as an ascendant faction under the name Heralds of Dust.
