Jennifer Brea is an American documentary filmmaker and activist. She became ill with a high fever while a PhD student at Harvard University, was misdiagnosed with conversion disorder, and later identified as having myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome. Her debut feature, Unrest, premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and was shortlisted for an Oscar. She co-founded #MEAction, which launched the #MillionsMissing protest.
