Life and career

Chanty was born in Manila, Philippines, to an Argentine father and a Filipino mother, the fifth of eight siblings. Shortly after birth, her family moved to Mendoza, Argentina, where she grew up with her younger sisters; she later returned to the Philippines to begin modeling and acting. On March 23, 2018, she was introduced as part of Star Magic Batch 2018 and made her acting debut in the supernatural series Spirits: Reawaken as Gabbie. In 2019, she played a major role in the film Familia Blondina, her big screen debut, and also appeared on the television drama series Hiwaga ng Kambat and Starla. Through her father's friend, she was offered the chance to go to South Korea to join a K-pop girl group, which she accepted. After eight months of training under MLD Entertainment, she was introduced as a member of Lapillus on May 25, 2022; the group debuted on June 20, 2022, with the single "Hit Ya!". In the Philippines, she transferred to GMA Network and signed an exclusive contract with Sparkle on November 11, 2022. In April 2024, MLD Entertainment announced that Chanty would take an indefinite hiatus from Lapillus due to developing ME/CFS. She was cast in the youth series Maka on August 14, 2024, and resumed activities with Lapillus in November 2024 during the group's tour of Japan. In 2026, she participated in season two of Stars on the Floor, finishing in second place with her Dance Star Duo partner Jao Canlas of Alamat.
