FateLords

Browser-based RTS played monthly rounds from 2002 to 2008.

FateLords was a browser-based massively multiplayer online real-time strategy game that operated from 2002 until its official closure in June 2008. Created by Zygimantas Berziunas, it was later sold to Dokeda, which supported the game until 2008. The game received several awards, including Golden Web Awards in 2002, 2003, and 2004, a Canadian Web award in 2002, a GameSpotter award, KTU Technorama, and was named the best Lithuanian product of information and communications technology in 2002. Players from Lithuania, the Netherlands, the UK, and the United States, among other countries, participated in monthly rounds where points were earned by capturing enemy planets and destroying ships. The domain fatelords.com was later purchased by a third party, and Dokeda has no plans to resume hosting the game.
