Love & Hip Hop: New York season 6

Production

In December 2015, season six of the show premiered, following a major cast shakeup. Only Yandy, Tara, and Amina stayed on from the previous main cast. New additions included Remy Ma, who joined with her husband Papoose shortly after her July 2015 prison release, along with social media star Cardi B and up-and-coming rappers Mariahlynn, Miss Moe Money, and Sexy Lexxy of BBOD. The season’s storylines centered more on the challenges female rappers face in the music industry.
