The Panda Village
The secret village where Po finds his birth father.
The Panda Village is a secret village of pandas high in the mountains. In Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) Po's birth father, far away in the village, senses that his son is still alive, and in Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) Po is reunited with him and discovers the village.
Lore & Background
Long before the films, Kai carried the injured Oogway to the village, where the pandas taught Oogway to give chi; Kai also learned chi from them. When Kai and his jade zombies reach the village, Po's Wuxi Finger Hold fails against him, and Po later overpowers Kai with the chi of the villagers. The series Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny begins with four panda children finding a mystical cave beneath the village.
