Lord Shen's Army

Lore & Background

Years before the film, Shen took the wolves that had guarded his parents and led them to wipe out every panda in China, hoping to escape a prophecy that a warrior of black and white would defeat him; the attack on the panda village separated Po from his parents. In the film the wolves raid villages for metal for Shen's cannons. When Po and the Five catch the raiders, the emblem on the Wolf Boss's armour sets off Po's memory of the last time he saw his mother. After Shen's defeat, the remnants of his wolf and gorilla forces were left in Gongmen City.
