Lore & Background

Poppy Adams runs The Golden Circle from a hidden hideout known as 'Poppy Land' in Cambodia. Her empire thrives on a paradox: she provides drugs to millions while simultaneously holding their lives hostage with a lethal toxin. Her missiles destroy the Kingsman headquarters; later she broadcasts a message to the world revealing the toxin. She demands that the U.S. President end the war on drugs and grant her cartel legal immunity in exchange for an antidote. The President, who turns out to be corrupt, decides to quarantine everyone affected and let them die instead of meeting her terms.
