Characters

Arashi is a villager who joins Team Freedom after acquiring the legendary Zoid Liger by chance. He earns the Zoid's trust and is trained by Quade to master Wild Blast, with Liger able to use the trademark action King Claw and later Ultra King Claw. Following the fall of the Dark Metal Empire, Arashi and Liger part ways with their team to travel. Quade is the founding leader of Team Supreme and a powerful Zoid Seeker whose partner is Zaber Fang. He initially sought out Liger alongside the mysterious Ancient Treasure Z before meeting Arashi. Quade mentors Arashi and later resumes his search for Ancient Treasure Z. Although not a member of the resistance, he opposes his former friend Gigaboss, who stole half of Demise's hacker key. Quade gives the key to Arashi before dying at the emperor's hands. He later appears as a spirit, enabling Zaber Fang to fight alongside his allies. Quade had met Arashi's father Apex and Mitsuba before the series began. Battalia is an orphan whose parents were killed by bandits. She becomes a bounty hunter to fund the orphanage where she grew up, using her Scorpear-type Zoid partner Needle. She works for the Dark Metal Empire's Numb-lock after impressing him, and he tasks her with taking down 100 bounties in exchange for money for the orphanage. After meeting Arashi, she becomes the first member of Team Freedom, eventually siding with her friends even though Arashi is her final bounty. Analog is the pilot of Tanks and a member of Team Freedom with a strong passion for Zoids. He often introduces Zoids by name, type, and abilities, even when not near them. Initially a slave of the Dark Metal Empire, he was forced to perform Hacker Key experiments, many on Tanks, which filled him with guilt. After meeting Arashi, Analog revolts against his captors, and Tanks gives him its Zoid Key.
