The Kyrgyzstan men's national ice hockey team represents the country in international competition. Known in Kyrgyz as "Кыргызстандын улуттук шайбалуу хоккей курамасы" and in Russian as "Сборная Киргизии по хоккею с шайбой," the team is governed by the Ice Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic and holds associate membership in the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). As of 2025, Kyrgyzstan sits 41st in the IIHF World Ranking and 10th in the Asian Ranking. The team first took the ice in 1962 at the Winter Spartakiad in Sverdlovsk, USSR, competing as the Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic.
They played seven games, defeating the Armenian SSR twice and losing to the Ukrainian SSR, Estonian SSR, Latvian SSR, Georgian SSR, and Lithuanian SSR. After a long hiatus, Kyrgyzstan returned to international play in 2011 at the Premier Division of the Asian Winter Games. There, they earned their first-ever win by beating Thailand 15–4, then won the Premier Division after winning all six of their games and finishing on top of the table. Kyrgyzstan debuted at the IIHF World Championships in 2019, entering the Division III qualification tournament in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
They won all five games to finish first, but their first four victories were later voided and recorded as 5–0 forfeits after player Aleksandr Titov was disqualified. The IIHF later acknowledged the error, but the results stood. The 2020 and 2021 tournaments were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Kyrgyzstan hosted the Division IV tournament.
