Disney Q Family Mastermind

Format

In each episode, four rounds are played by every family. Rounds one and three give ninety seconds per round, while rounds two and four allow two minutes. A buzzer with four beeps signals when time is up. If a question is still being read or was just read when time ends, the player currently in control gets a brief chance to answer. Correct answers are worth two points. Players can choose to pass if they do not know an answer. After each round, the family’s score and number of passes are announced. The youngest family member handles general knowledge questions. Before their round, each family picks one subject from a list of eight, and all questions in that round come from that subject. All family members take turns, with the youngest starting. Each new question goes first to the next player in the rotation. When a player passes, the next family member can try that question. A pass is only counted against the family if all four members pass on the same question. Each family also selects one member to answer questions on their own specialist subject. The family that is behind plays that round first. Like round two, all family members participate in this round, which uses general knowledge questions. An incorrect answer here costs one point. The family with the higher total score at the end wins the episode.
