Gameplay
In Marble Saga: Kororinpa, players tilt the environment using the Wii Remote to guide a rolling sphere through obstacle-filled paths toward a goal, much like its predecessor Kororinpa: Marble Mania. The gameplay has been compared to the Super Monkey Ball series. Certain mazes require creative tilting so that walls become floors, and players must interact with magnets, conveyor belts, and cannons. Collectibles vary by difficulty. Yellow Crystals must be gathered in every mode to finish a level. Easy and Normal modes also require Stump Temple Pieces to access the final world, while Normal mode additionally offers Green Crystals that unlock extra stages. On the hardest setting, players must rescue the colony's missing ants. Time-based performance earns bronze, silver, gold, or platinum trophies, which in turn unlock new marbles. The game contains seven worlds and over 150 levels, each filled with gadgets. New customization options let players design their own marble by choosing attributes and techniques, and they can even place their Mii inside it. A built-in level editor allows sharing custom creations via WiiConnect24.
