Sacred Gear
The supernatural items wielded by Issei, Asia, Yuto and others.
Sacred Gears are the supernatural items carried by several characters in High School DxD. Issei's main weapon in combat is a Sacred Gear that first takes the form of a gauntlet on his left arm. Asia Argento's is a set of rings called Twilight Healing, which an enemy returns to capture her to absorb. Yuto Kiba's lets him generate swords with different properties for their blades, such as Holy Eraser, a blade that devours light, and Flame Delete, an ice blade that negates fire.

Background
Gasper's Sacred Gear freezes time for whatever is in his field of vision, but because he cannot control it he was sealed in a remote room of the school and became a shut-in. Azazel is interested in Sacred Gears and collects a great many of them to study; after cutting off his own arm while fighting Cattleya Leviathan he replaces it with a prosthetic built from his Sacred Gear research.
