Soos Ramirez

A clumsy but brilliant handyman whose heart is as big as his talents for engineering, DJing, and pinball.

Jesus Alzamirano "Soos" Ramirez is the 22-year-old Hispanic handyman who serves as a loyal friend to Dipper and Mabel Pines at the Mystery Shack. Voiced by creator Alex Hirsch, Soos is characterized as a portly man-child with buck teeth frequently compared to those of a beaver. While he is clumsy and prone to mistakes, his talents span engineering, DJing, and pinball. He provides transportation for the twins whenever needed and bonds with Dipper over "boy stuff." His voice emulates a blunt-like consonance based on Hirsch's friend Jesus Chambrot from CalArts.
