Lore & Background

Set shortly after the events of Island Thunder, Jungle Storm follows the 'Ghosts', an elite special forces unit of the United States Army, as they combat guerilla armies in Latin America. In 2010, the People's Democratic Front attempts to overthrow the democratizing government of Cuba after losing an election by requesting support from FARC, but they fail and are defeated by the Ghosts. When FARC attacks an American embassy in Colombia, the Ghosts help the Colombian government and UN peacekeepers combat FARC and the MFLC. The Ghosts hunt down MFLC figures, defend civilian centers, rescue hostages, and cut off the MFLC's drug smuggling revenue stream. Operations reveal rebel sleeper cells in Cuba; the Ghosts and a UN force assault an MFLC stronghold at a radio tower to prevent the sleeper cell activation, defeating the MFLC and making FARC lose the initiative.

In Their Own Story

The Ghosts are inserted into a blizzard-swept Russian forest, their thermal optics cutting through the whiteout like scalpels. A rogue general has taken over an early-warning radar station, threatening to trigger a false alarm that could spark a war. The team moves silently through the snow, using suppressed fire and coordinated takedowns to clear the facility. In the final moments, they disable the radar array and exfiltrate via a waiting helicopter, leaving no trace of their presence—just footprints already erased by the storm.
