Background
Mages are certified from ninth class up to first class, and anyone below fifth class counts as an apprentice. Some first-class mages may become Serie's apprentices or proctor later exams, and the association may be linked to schools such as the Academy of Magic. Its headquarters are in the Holy City of Strahl, one of the two places where the First-Class Mage Exam is held. The other is its Northern Branch in Äußerst, the largest city of magic in the Northern Lands, where Serie often stays and where many mages on missions to the Northern Plateau are based. Before the association existed, magic guilds handed out mage certifications. Known members include Lernen, Genau, Sense, Falsch and Methode.
