Mirette Investigates, also known as Les enquêtes de Mirette, is an animated TV show adapted from picture books by Fanny Joly with illustrations by Laurent Audouin, first published in 2008. The series, which calls itself the first travelling detective comedy, started airing on TF1's TFOU on 6 November 2016.

Characters
Mirette is an eleven-year-old girl who aspires to be the world's greatest detective under twelve, preferring traditional technology. Her partner Jean-Pat is a tech-savvy, lazy cat. Detective Mollo performs unreliably in his job. Sophie Scoop, a thirteen-year-old aspiring news reporter, is Mirette's best friend and Jean-Pat's number one fan. The Grand Villain International, the sole member of the FPECTRE secret organization, aims to turn the world into a giant minigolf course and is opposed by Mirette; he has a dog named Gérard.
