Production
The series is a co-production of Classic Media, MoonScoop Group, and DQ Entertainment, with participation from TF1, Harvey Entertainment, and CNC. The complete first season aired between October and November 2009. The second season premiered on Cartoon Network on October 2, 2012, featuring a new title theme, a recast of all voices, and edited CGI animation. Voice actor Matthew Geczy, who starred in Code Lyoko, voiced Casper, Thatch, Stinky, Stretch, Wolfie, and Alder, giving Casper a voice similar to his Code Lyoko character Odd Della Robbia. Mirabelle Kirkland, who voiced Yumi Ishiyama in Code Lyoko, voiced Mantha and Jimmy in the second season. Some background characters received larger roles and speaking parts, and personalities changed, notably Thatch gaining a tender side shown through playing with rubber ducks.
