Publication and development

The game was developed by Ons On Soft, which created all content and material but needed a publisher. It was originally self-published in Korea in July 2006 and expanded overseas the following year when Outspark picked it up, while Gamigo published it in Europe. On February 6, 2013, Gamigo acquired the North American licensing rights from Outspark. Gamigo announced on April 29, 2014, that Fiesta Online had been greenlit, with territory tracked via Steam. On March 2, 2016, Gamigo announced it had assumed worldwide development rights, and the full transition from OnsOne Soft LTD to Gamigo occurred by May 17, 2016.
