Blade Wars was a free-to-play massively-multiplayer online role-playing game that launched in China in 2007 before being cancelled. Developed and published by Changyou.com, it was set in a fantasy world inspired by martial arts, where three races—Abyssals, Humans, and Immortals—fought for control in player-versus-player combat. The game featured an isometric view and controls similar to RuneScape and Diablo, with a dynamic battle system that considered level, attack timing, and enemy position.
