Denmark

Denmark has taken part 54 times, with DR as its broadcaster, choosing its entry through Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. It finished third on its debut and first won with "Dansevise" by Grethe and Jorgen Ingmann. After a long absence it returned to the top three 25 years later, won a second time with "Fly on the Wings of Love" by the Olsen Brothers, and won a third time in 2013 with Emmelie de Forest's "Only Teardrops".
