Pig cop enemy
Mutated LAPD officers turned alien enforcers.
The Pig Cop is an enemy in Duke Nukem 3D, a mutated human from the LAPD. The name is a play on the derogatory term 'pig' for police officers, and their uniforms are emblazoned with 'LARD'.

Lore & Background
In the game's story, aliens have mutated the LAPD into Pig Cops. They appear as hostile foes in the first episode, 'L.A. Meltdown'. While they serve the alien invaders, it is the aliens themselves who capture Duke at a strip club and imprison him in the level 'Death Row'.
In Their Own Story
The street was quiet, too quiet. Duke kicked a soda can, and it clattered into the gutter. Then he heard it: a wet, snorting laugh. From the shadow of a burned-out diner, a Pig Cop waddled into view, its shotgun glinting. It raised the weapon and grunted, 'Time to die, meatbag.' Duke spat, 'Not today, bacon bits,' and leveled his shotgun. The Pig Cop fired first, but Duke was faster, diving behind a car as pellets sparked off metal. The creature snorted again, advancing, but Duke had already circled around, putting a shell through its skull before it could turn. It fell with a wet thud, and Duke stepped over it, muttering, 'That's one for the grill.'
Reader's Guide
Pig Cops are lesser enemies encountered throughout the game. Like Duke, they have access to a wide range of weapons and equipment, and some weaker enemies have jet packs.
