The Room of Spirit and Time, called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in English, is a training room in Dragon Ball where a year of training takes only a single day of outside time.

Lore & Background
Before the Cell Games, Goku and Gohan train in the room for a year in a single day. Gohan becomes a Super Saiyan there, and both come out keeping their Super Saiyan traits. Vegeta and Future Trunks also train in it to face Cell, and Future Trunks gains two further grades of Super Saiyan.
Reader's Guide
The room is where several of the series' biggest power-ups happen: Gohan's first Super Saiyan transformation, Future Trunks's new grades, Gotenks's training and Frieza's Black Frieza form.
When Majin Buu arrives, Trunks and Goten train in the room to master the fusion that creates Gotenks, who first fights Buu inside it. In Dragon Ball Super's Granolah the Survivor arc, Frieza reveals that he found a room like it on a distant planet he had conquered and trained there for 10 years in a matter of days, gaining his Black Frieza form.
