Sarajevo (French: De Mayerling à Sarajevo) is a 1940 French historical drama film directed by Max Ophüls. It portrays the love affair and marriage of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, culminating in their 1914 assassination. The film was not a commercial or critical success and was banned after the German occupation of France.
