History
The company handles talent management, creative direction, production, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Its first signed artist was singer-songwriter Raury. Two more artists, DRAM and 6lack, joined the roster in 2016. On July 14, 2017, LVRN struck a distribution deal with Interscope Records and opened a creative studio in Atlanta called LVRN Studios. Sean Famoso said the space belongs to the city as much as to the label, and Tunde Balogun told Billboard the label is focused on long-term artist development. A week later, on May 5, LVRN teamed up with Spotify for a hip hop cypher that introduced Cleveland rapper NoonieVsEverybody to the label.
