Clash Royale League

The official Clash Royale esports competition.

The Clash Royale League, or CRL, is Clash Royale's official esports competition. It runs each year in the second half of the year and ends with the World Finals in early December, where players compete to be crowned World Champion and win cash prizes.

Background

From 2018 to 2020 a season had three stages: a 20-win in-game challenge or Global Tournament, regional Combine qualifiers where esports teams scouted players, and the CRL itself, all played with tournament-standard card and tower levels. A new format arrived in 2021. Matches are broadcast on the Clash Royale Esports YouTube channel.
