Special Event Challenges
Limited-time challenges with special rules.
Special Event Challenges are limited-time challenges that appear from time to time in Clash Royale's Tournament tab. They work much like the Classic and Grand Challenges, with their own matchmaking separate from ladder play, but each adds a special condition and may offer one-time rewards for reaching a set number of wins.
Background
Variants change the team size (1v1 or 2v2), the deck size (an 18-card Mega Deck or a 4-card deck), or the goal, such as reaching the opponent's end zone in a Touchdown Challenge or destroying a safe in a Heist Challenge.
