1971 NBA playoffs

Milwaukee Bucks sweep Baltimore Bullets for first title.

The 1971 NBA playoffs concluded with the Milwaukee Bucks sweeping the Baltimore Bullets in the NBA Finals. The Bucks, led by Finals MVP Lew Alcindor and Oscar Robertson, became the fastest expansion team to win an NBA championship, a record they still hold through 2025. They finished 12–2 in the postseason with an average point differential of 14.5. The playoffs featured a new format with four divisions, each sending its champion and second-place team. This was the Bullets' first Finals appearance and their only one while based in Baltimore. The San Francisco Warriors played their last postseason under that name.
