Plot

The series follows four teenagers who protect Capital City from Klaus Von Steinhauer, a disgruntled B-movie director who can bring his cinematic monsters to life. The teens customize household objects into weapons and work from a bomb shelter beneath Luke's house. Later, they become caught in a battle between Von Steinhauer and a new Mystery Monster Maker, whose monsters are half animal, half machine.

Tabby, a blond 17-year-old, is the second-in-command and Luke's love interest; she invents weapons from household gadgets and is class president and volleyball captain.
