Difference between versions

The series introduced several new characters. In the neighbor's garden, a mean rosebush named Rose appeared, accompanied by two talking buds. A mischievous prickly plant called Thistle also joined. A magpie named Pry became obsessed with collecting shiny treasures, often just bottle caps. A hedgehog named Boo was added, along with a frog called Tad. A female squirrel named Scamper and her baby nephew, Scuff, appeared. A spider named Whimsy, an earthworm named Whoops, and a talking tomato named Ketchup were also introduced. Slowcoach the tortoise stayed, largely unchanged, still getting angry at Bill and Ben for ruining his things or messing around. His brother, another male tortoise named Lightning, joined the cast. Bill and Ben swapped voice tones, with Bill now speaking in a deep voice and Ben in a high one. Weed no longer just said her name; she now spoke normal English, acting as an earth mother figure to the pair and often helping them.
