This discovery forced the evacuation of the stadium and surrounding neighborhoods before experts defused the device. The museum's context is also shaped by the stadium's naming history: since 1 December 2005, it has been officially called Signal Iduna Park for sponsorship reasons, though it retains the name Westfalenstadion in UEFA competitions. The atmosphere celebrated here is defined by the South Bank terrace, which holds 24,454 spectators and generates an intense environment that even intimidated Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
