The Black Spirit is a mysterious entity that travels with the player as a companion. It can be summoned at any time (by default with the comma key) and is the player's gateway to the main quest line.

Background
Calling the Black Spirit opens a menu with its main uses: the list of Black Spirit main quests, the Enhancement window, Transfusion for setting gems into equipment, Item Reform (raising a gear item's tier with a Reform Stone, with a chance of an inferior result) and a Guide that offers profession quests as each Life Skill levels up.
