Kim Wexler Surrenders Her Law License
After Howard's murder, Kim gives up the law and leaves Jimmy.
Kim Wexler's legal career ends by her own choice, not by a revocation. After Lalo Salamanca murders Howard Hamlin in her and Jimmy's apartment, Mike Ehrmantraut stages Howard's death as a suicide and tells them never to speak of that night. Overwhelmed with guilt, Kim surrenders her law license and leaves Jimmy soon after Howard's memorial service.
Lore & Background
Kim had worked her way up at Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill, secured Mesa Verde Bank as a client, and later became a partner in charge of the new banking division at Schweikart & Cokely while taking pro bono criminal defense cases. After quitting the law she relocates to Florida, takes a job at Palm Coast Sprinklers and lives a simple, mundane life.
